Flow through a mellow paced and structured movement class to release tension and become more comfortable throughout your body. Building mental and physical awareness as we progress, moving into slower held, passive postures as we begin to really turn our attention inwards as the workshop progresses. After our Asana practice, we'll have a restorative, and calming Pranayama (breathwork) practice before we sink into a completely restoring and relaxing Yoga Nidra session to round off the two hours we have together. The movement section of the class will be slow, and approachable. We will spend a little bit longer in the positions to allow ourselves to sink into the postures and settle into our Pranayama and Meditative practices later on. To reconnect with the stillness that lies deep within ourselves, we first need to re-embody ourselves fully, and journey inwards gradually. If you have a yoga mat and a blanket, please do bring them along. Comfy, and loose clothes would be absolutely fine, and any extra layers you may want for the last portion of our class during our breathing practices and Yoga Nidra.
